Cryoserver
Active Directory User
0:01 Hello, my name is Robin and I'm going to show you how to use the Cryoserver solution as an active directory user.
0:12 I'm going to press this button called login. When I press login, it auto-logs me into the Cryoserver search interface, which allows me to search by a quick date like the last six months or the last two years.
0:29 Alternatively, you have a year, month, day approach. You can search based on keywords in the body of the email or in the subject.
0:41 You can search from and to an email address or a domain. You can search just from or to. You can even search based on the attachment name or keywords inside the attachment. I'm going to search for emails sent to a specific email address.
1:03 If I press control and space, the system can auto-suggest email addresses based on the date range you have selected.
1:14 I've now typed in the email address. I'm going to perform a search, and it has now conducted a live search across six months' worth of emails to and from this email address.
1:21 I have the capability to right-click, which reveals a menu system to open and reply, or even restore a message back to my mailbox.
1:37 Alternatively, I can just click on the email, and I'm now viewing it. On the right-hand side, there is an actions icon, which allows you to flip to the next message.
1:51 You can print the email, export it to a PDF, download a copy, or restore it back to your mailbox.
2:05 You can refine your search by adding more criteria. I'm going to search for the keyword "willow" and broaden the search to a one-year period.
2:16 So now, I'm doing a one-year search with a keyword and from and to criteria, and the search has been refined down to a smaller collection of emails.
2:29 We also provide an advanced search. The advanced search interface is split into two parts. If I draw an imaginary line down the middle of the screen, everything to the left is "include" and everything to the right is "exclude."
2:45 We also have expanding panels that allow you to reveal alternative search criteria.
3:00 I'm going to find words that sound or look similar to the word "Cryoserver," but I want to exclude the exact word "Cryoserver."
3:13 What this search aims to do is find the misspellings of the word "Cryoserver."
3:18 These searches take a little longer to produce results because it is a fuzzy, complex search. But even on my system here, it's found 10,000 misspellings of the word "Cryoserver."
3:34 The first misspelling has a missing "R" just before the "V," and down here, there is a missing "R" at the end.
3:44 Clearly, these are misspellings of the word "Cryoserver." Search history is an area where we remember your previous searches that you may have conducted.
3:59 Depending on how many searches you've done, it may take some time to load. If you want to replay one of these searches, you can press the replay button, and it will replay that particular search.
4:18 In the top right-hand corner, there is a settings option. Under settings, you can see what email addresses you are allowed to access and search.
4:30 If you don't want to include or do want to include certain email addresses in a particular search, you can make the adjustments here.
4:43 Case folders is an area of the product where you can pick and choose a collection of emails and store them in a case folder.
4:51 And that is a quick tour of Cryoserver as a basic user. Thanks for watching!
